Join the Movement: Transforming Wellness Through Authentic Storytelling
As a seasoned disruptor in the dynamic world of fitness and wellness, I've honed my craft from humble beginnings in blogging and social media to cultivating a vibrant community with Running Fat Chef. Over the past decade, I've proudly championed the voices of marginalized communities in global conversations surrounding running, cycling, mental health, and chronic illness. Whether it's sparking insightful fireside chats within corporate settings, delivering tailored keynotes, or fostering meaningful connections at community events, I'm passionate about crafting immersive wellness experiences that leave a lasting impact. I would be thrilled to collaborate with you to bring your event to life with an engaging presentation and a dialogue that resonates long after the lights dim.
Some of My Signature Fitness & Wellness Conversations
-
My talk advocates for people to meet themselves in the present state versus waiting to reward themselves at an end goal or striving for perfection. I will share my personal hiccups, reframes and how applying S.M.A.R.T. goals helped me build up to long term success.
*This conversation is also available as a hybrid workshop.

In this signature talk, I delve into the importance of inclusivity within the fitness and wellness sphere, emphasizing the need to create welcoming environments for individuals of all backgrounds, abilities, and body types. Through personal anecdotes and insights, I will highlight how embracing diversity not only promotes physical health but also fosters a sense of belonging, empowerment, and self-acceptance among participants. My message serves as a call to action for the industry to prioritize inclusivity, accessibility and dismantle barriers that hinder access to fitness and wellness opportunities for marginalized communities.

In my signature talk on advocacy for unseen disabilities, I shed light on the challenges faced by individuals with invisible medical conditions while navigating everyday life. In my signature talk, “Honesty is My Standard Business Practice: Sharing the Evolution of Running Fat Chef®,” I candidly share my experiences shifting from being a fitness enthusiast while working full time in the culinary industry to becoming an accidental activist and creating a six-figure business as a plus-size influencer and athlete advocate.
I will share how I am challenging societal norms on social media and pushing for people to lean into their own stories to inspire, impact and build better communities without performative, predatory practices.
I will share how I threw away strategies of overly curating my feed to stimulate long term social impact in the fitness and wellness space. Through sharing my successes and failures, I garnered success in my personal and professional life. Together we will explore how I shifted Running Fat Chef from being a story about one person’s journey to creating a movement of unapologetic, boundary setting dream chasers who are willing to rewrite the rules and pursue what others oftentimes write off as impossible to non-traditional performing athletes and everyday people.
My message encourages listeners to embrace their own truths, defy stereotypes created by others, lies we’ve constructed from borrowed thoughts, and impactful businesses and organizations for the betterment of the communities we serve.
-
In my signature talk, "I Hope I Fail You: How I Learned How to Consistently Win for Myself," I share my journey of overcoming setbacks and self-doubt to achieve personal success and fulfillment. Through candid reflections and practical strategies, I explore how embracing failure as a learning opportunity and prioritizing self-growth has empowered me to redefine success on my own terms. My message encourages listeners to embrace resilience, self-compassion, and authenticity as they navigate their own paths toward fulfillment and achievement.
